• Our Instructors and Helpers
The tremendous success of Gold in the Net goaltending programs is largely due to its incredible Instructors and Helpers. Our Instructors and Helpers are Gold in the Net students who have, over the years, grown with the program and remained loyal followers and active participants of the program, this combined with their playing experience ensures the students consistent and accurate training. Each and every Instructor or Helper takes pride in his or her instruction; helping to develop and assist the needs of the individual goaltender can be very rewarding.
• Our Training
The Gold in the Net On-Ice program is second to none among goaltending programs with constant and continuing development of goaltending techniques to the level of instruction provided for the individual goaltender. As well informative lectures and off ice training specifically designed for the goaltenders.
Gold in the Net maximizes its instruction by way of methodically breaking down the individual drill; demonstrating it properly with Gold in the Net's qualified instructors and then allowing the goaltender through the method of repetition complete the drill. The drill is then executed with shooters to imitate a real game situation forcing the goalie to make quick decisions on how to implement the skills he/she has just learnt. The result is sharpened sense of awareness for the goalie, which ultimately reduces any unnecessary movement on the goalie's part in or around the net ensuring him/her a more confident style of goaltending.
