Funday Fridays
Personnel Goalie Trainer - Hockey Training - Coaching Resources
In the earlier years it was called 'Hat Day' where all the Gold in the Net Instructors
took to putting on funny hats for the final ice session and to promote a more relaxed
environment for the ever-popular 'Shootout' event. The staff ensures that everyone was
having a great time and is fully participating in this popular event. Over the years we
have seen the likes of Werewolves, Firemen, Cowboys and Rock stars skating down and shooting
on the students with the excitement and showmanship in the true Gold in the Net fashion.
Fun Day Friday's is geared towards the Regular and Intermediate programs, were all of
the staff including Instructors and Helpers dress up for their last ice session of the day.
The emphasis is being placed on the students' enjoyment of his/her camp in a fun filled
celebration of the week's achievements, knowledge learned, understanding, commitment, hard
work and the friendships made, all in a day they will not soon forget.

Our Advanced and Special Elite students also participate in the popular 'Shootout'
event but take a more serious approach to this final ice time of the day. As they celebrate
their week of achievements and friendships, this competition is carried out in a more
mature fashion for these levels of programs.
