At Gold in the Net, our philosophy is "Be the Best You Can Be" backed with our positive and encouraging atmosphere, we treat each and every student as and individual to encourage him/her at all times to be the best they can be.
Our On-Ice philosophy is to provide the very best in instructional programs designed specifically for individual goaltenders at any level with creative forms of visualization. First is the demonstration, each drill is methodically broken down and demonstrated only by qualified Gold in the Net Instructors dressed in full gear. This enables the student to completely relate to the drill by visually seeing a complete demonstration of the movement. Secondly we videotape the individual student who then can view him or her self-doing the particular drill. This form of visual will help them actually see themselves perform the movement and better identify any areas where there needs to any modification or improvement.
Off ice our programs focus on the physiological and psychological development of the goaltender. As we all know, a learning environment can become increasingly effective when the participants are being challenged and having fun. For this reason we encourage teamwork with respect for one another, and to value each others opinions and abilities.
In a world filled with peer pressure and contraband everywhere we at Gold in the Net strongly believe that we must all take a stand and show our support towards our youth. The "Courage To Say No To Drugs" is a drug awareness program designed to address the drug and performance issue. Perry has donated a great deal of time and resources to Canadian Minor Hockey. His professionalism and demeanor make him a positive role model for youth. He has the ability to reach hockey enthusiasts at the local, provincial and National levels. The program uses high profile N.H.L. players such as Teemu Selanne, Jari Kurri, and Sean Burke to convey messages to our youth. Gold in the Net employs all of its promotional abilities, along with its affiliates to covey this message.
