Side trip to see a hockey game is a welcome event. The trip to Helsinki from the town of Forssa takes about an hour by bus. The trip goes by fast with the company of new friends. |
| Czech and USA battle it our for the playoff position. The fans are pumped up for the game and we Canadians have to be graceful winners. To be otherwise would bring unknown consequences. | ![]() |

The game is electric and the play is first class. Canada has come into their stride and are making the plays and passing is becoming impressive. |
| The game is in the hands of the Canadians early on and they never look back. In the closing moments Shawn is denied the shutout, but the game is won and Canada moves to closer to the final. | ![]() |

The mascot for the World Championship Hockey was a rather energetic Lion. The Cheerleaders in the stands was an unusual site for a hockey game also. |
