Training for all Ages & Levels

NEW Strobe Eyewear is designed to train the connections between an individual's eyes, brain and body. Using liquid crystal technology, the lenses flicker between clear and opaque, moving visual information and forcing the goalie to process more efficiently.

Improves balance, anticipation and reaction to gain the competitive edge!

Regular Program  (Ages up to 9 years)

This is where a strong foundation is built to allow our students to progress onto higher levels of play. All of the basic movements of the goaltender will be covered. Having strong fundamentals will allow the goalie to change and adapt as the game around them change.

Max 12 goalies per half ice. Small groups of 4 goalies.

Intermediate Program (Ages 9 - 10)

Continues to build on the fundaments we have implemented in the Regular program. Leaving out much of the very early basics of the Regular program, we begin refining the butterfly and all of its accompanying elements is the primary objective for the Intermediate level.

Max 12 goalies per half ice. Small groups of 4 goalies.

 Advanced Programs                                   (Level 1 - Ages 10-12) (Level 2 - Ages 13 +)

The Advanced Level Programs are split into two separate programs and have been specifically designed to be age appropriate in both skills and development. Both will continue to refine movements and learn the latest in techniques to  enhance their overall play.

3-1 student/net ratio. Max 9 goalies per half ice.

Elite Programs                                         (Level 1 - Ages 12-14 ) (Level 2 - Ages 15 +)

Intense programs designed to give goalies professional level drills and instruction. This is a week of intense physical and mental training, so come prepared for a challenge which will take your game to the next level.

Elite +MTC                                                    (5 Day Mental Training Course)                    ALL LEVELS

What separates good goalies from greatness? What defines the final outcome? Most experts agree the “Mental Side of the Game” is the answer.

Mental training has so many elements, so many components and to do it justice you cannot do it all in one week of training. Gold in the Net has 3 separate week-long programs of MTC to enable most athletes to retain much of the information. For the past three years, GITN has offered a week A, B and C for all of its students.

1-1 student/net ratio AM ice followed by 2/1 student/net ratio for PM ice session.

MTC COMPLETE GOLD                     (10 Day Mental Training Course)                  ALL LEVELS

This program features a complete mental training course with on ice development. Each goalie has their own net in the morning session and will share the net with only one goalie for the afternoon session.

This program is operated under the same guidelines as our Pro Camp and offers GITN's most complex program.

1-1 student/net ratio AM ice followed by 2/1 student/net ratio for PM ice session.

Private One on One

The private program gives the goaltender the best opportunity to work with a Gold in the Net top instructor 1 on 1.  The instructor will customize the drills and workouts for each goaltender as they see fit.  This program gives the goaltender a complete break-down of their style and techniques.  It’s ideal for any level of goaltender who is seeking the best professional instruction there is to offer in the industry in a 1 on 1 environment.

Pro Camp (Invitation Only)

Gold in the Net has been doing pro camps for more than 20 years.  Some of the NHL goalies that attended would be Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers, Dylan Ferguson of the Vegas Knights, Antero Niittymaki who played with the Philadelphia Flyers, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the San Jose Sharks, Fredrik Norrena who played with Columbus Blue Jackets and was a member of the 2006 Olympics, Kari Lehtonen of the Dallas Stars, and David LeNeveu who has been with the Phoenix Coyotes, Anaheim Ducks and the New York Rangers.  Numerous other top prospects playing Pro Hockey, Junior and College Hockey have also participated.  There are minimum requirements to anyone wanting to participate in this program.
