The manager of the Inn is pleasant and more than willing to assist us in our efforts. Just a comment to him on getting Internet connectivity, lead to his spending time on the phone with the telephone company and an hour later, a phone company representative was at the hotel with software, dialup information and internet account access password. His wife was just as pleasant and a pleasure to meet. |
The Chief is hard a work trying to please the appetites of a diverse group of young people. The smoked rain deer did not seem to go over as well as had been expected. "No fella's we cannot have French fries with every meal. The broiled salmon fillets will be just as good" There is no pleasing everyone. The food is plentiful, diverse and appreciated. |

The staff lay out the food in buffet form and let the boys at it. Meals were a diverse selection of steak, pork, salmon, lasagna, and yes even French fries on one evening. Milk, tea, coffee, juice, and water make sure the students get their fluids after a long day on the ice. |
| Francis finds time to chat while having dinner. The group has a reserved area in the dinning room to have their meal. Here we learn of the benefits of real-estate ownership in Whistler Village, British Columbia, and area. A good sense of humor and welcome company on the trip. | ![]() |

OK Frances, you can give me the camera back now. Trying to keep things working in the background is intriguing and challenging. The photo essay is my responsibility. |
