DAN KRAM RMT
Owner/Operator GITN-Metro Vancouver
Daniel Kram is a RMT, with education and experience in manual therapies, rehab management, coaching and instructing. Daniel was introduced to Gold In The Net in 2014 when he took his grandson, Seth to a camp in Burnaby, BC. Because of Dan's interest in movement mobility and fitness, he approached Perry about the dryland program they were running at the camp. After a short conversation Perry asked Daniel to help, which he did for that week. Early in 2015 Perry contacted Daniel to help produce a dryland program for Gold In The Net. Frank Slubowski, a NCAA and Pro goalie, said it was the best-off ice program he had encountered.
SENAPTEC SENSORY PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Available at GITN-Metro Vancouver!
Gold In The Net-Metro Vancouver has just acquired a Senaptec Sensory Station, a cutting-edge sensory performance assessment and training solution designed primarily for use in sports and medical facilities. In 25 minutes, the Sensory Station can assess an individual on 10 visual and sensorimotor skills, including: visual clarity; contrast sensitivity; depth perception; near-far quickness; perception span; multiple object tracking; reaction time; target capture; eye-hand coordination; and go/no go acumen. The assessment immediately provides a report comparing the individual to other players and professional athletes. The report reveals the player’s sensory strengths and areas for improvement, allowing the user to develop a custom program for improvement using training tools and drills on the Sensory Station. The Senaptec Strobe - the most commonly used Senaptec product for medical rehabilitation - is worn in short daily sessions, either at home or in a health practitioner setting. When you train your senses, you promote a healthier brain. Practitioners use the Senaptec sensory solution today to address a multitude of conditions, including: ACL injuries, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, autism, ankle injuries, multiple sclerosis and ADHD.
MINOR HOCKEY & COACHING CLINICS
Gold in the Net uses trained and certified staff to do all of our clinics, this ensures the continuity and consistency of the program being taught all over the World through the Gold in the Net programs and system.
We have a wealth of experience in coaching not only goaltenders but dealing with coaches at all levels. A better understanding will allow coaches to better manage their time spent with the goalies on the team. That is why it is critical to include a coaching clinic relating to the coaches in your association to assist them in harnessing the true potential of their individual goaltending needs.
We have mental topics on how the goalie’s mind works. Sessions show the coaches how to best utilize the goalies workout in conjunction with the teams overall practice.
